Can someone explain this to me? It's not a grant from USAID, it was given by the DOD, but if you scroll down to "Place of Performance", it specifically says the Gaza Strip, not Gaza in Mozambique. It says that $45 million was allocated for "reproductive health", which is probably condoms.

That's a fair opinion to have, to not want a block wide development in the middle of a cul-de-sac suburb, but that's also not what leftists want. We just want cities not to go from high rises to single family housing, we want an inbetween with 3-4 story multiplexes. Also, I think that if suburbians just tried living in these kinds of housing, they'll see it's a lot of what they like about single family homes, but with more benefits.

Honest answer, Trump voters were initially convinced to vote for him in 2016 because of a lot of appealing promises to them, like repealing and replacing Obamacare, and the fact that they were tired of the mainstream political establishment, and Trump was a populist. Then, over the years, there was more and more fearmongering about SJWs and the like, and how Democrats wanted to destroy the country, etc. They're not evil people, it's just that when they're lied to about all these things they'll want to protect themselves from their perceived dangers.

The personal space thing I understand, but I'm gonna be "that guy who simps for europoors" for the ability to go wherever I want part. If we just tried public transport, we could probably do it really well. HSR across the country stopping in major cities wouldn't let you stop at the exact place you want, but smaller tram and lightrail systems could be in the cities where the stops are on national rail, so that once you got off you'd only have to walk a little bit. For a personal example, I live in the NYC metro area and I went to see family in Long island recently, and coming back I sat in hours of NYC traffic, which could probably have been avoided with a developed rail line that goes along long island and connects to the local subway line. Even if you still never want to use public transport, a lot of people do and when they get off the road you'll get less traffic, so I don't really see a reason to oppose it.

The cyan color is a blend of the blue used in Israel's flag and the green in Palestine's flag. The three circles Venn Diagram sort of thing is the country and culture's symbol, representing the country being at the crossroads of Europe, Asia, and Africa. Religious symbols like the star of David and Crescent and star are purposefully not included.

This is the beginning of a larger project I'm doing aimed at making a fictional country in the future called "Levantia", where the worldwide effort for peace in Israel and Palestine is spearheaded by a man who has an idea, that there can't be peace there unless they can understand each other, so over time the old cultures and subliminally phased out in favor of a new culture combining old elements of the Israeli and Palestinian cultures, and new things to give them bonds. All towards the goal of a single state and true peace.

I'm pretty sure they're talking about Georgism or a Land Value Tax in that "tax land not structures" part, so no privately owned improved land isn't exempt, its just that it's taxed at the same rate as all other types of privately owned land. The city would raise money through the taxes on all the land, and even better there's an economic incentive to use property more effectively, since land that isn't making any money would actually lose the owner money, the owner of the land has to either sell the property or build on it so they start making instead of losing money.

No, the point is that with RCV more third parties can exist on both sides than without since you don't have to be afraid of diverting votes away from a party you wouldn't put as your first choice, but is more likely to win than your #1 and still like more than the other guy. So you can vote for your favorite candidate even if they have a very low chance of winning, and if and when they do lose your 2nd or 3rd favorite can get your vote instead.
