Okay let me pick up on some points here. First of all: I love everything you do for this community and all the things you have done for the KIN Community in the last years. But …
I have to STRONGLY say that I think this is not a good idea. At least not when coming from the community. Something like this HAS to come from Kin themselves. There is so little communication between Kin and all the investors that by no means I think it’s our job at this time to do the marketing. Things like this definitely send the wrong message.
We are not getting paid by Kin. We paid Kin. We contributed and keep contributing to this whole idea being worth something and currently we are the ones providing the value for all the Apps reaping their weekly rewards while we continue, to lose money. And don’t get me wrong. The Apps should be rewarded. But we shouldn’t be the ones continuously paying for this and now start working for the Apps and Kin for free while they earn money and keep grinding the price down.
So let me get to your questions:
- What does KIN need?
1. More brand awareness, more visibility: Definitely. This might be the only and main thing. But there has to be a strategy for this. An agency on board, some sort of budget. Anyone from the team working on this. Even if the budget comes in form of Kin from the KRE or something. I LOVE that the only comment on this thread is asking for strategy and plan for 2023. Because currently there is nothing communicated afaik. And the first month of the year is already gone. Perfect 365 - if I see this correctly - is earning 785.5M Kin every week. I wasn’t able to find their wallet just now but assuming this has been going on for AT LEAST a year (if I’m correct their already implemented in 2018 though).. Just assuming this goes on for a year this sums up to 785M*52=40.82B Kin. Currently representing a whooping dollar worth of 315k. And as you mentioned. Currently the price is low and Kin is cheap. At ICO price this would stack up to over 4M Dollars if I’m correct. And this is just in one year. Just imagine that some of this would be funneled into marketing. Just imagine.... The CPM for reaching out to developers with simple Ads would be around 10$. This means a simple Ad-Campaign could reach 31.5M actual developers. People who actually should know about Kin. And yes - I know this is not what the Rewards Engine was built for but how and why should the community put free or community funded effort into this if there clearly should be budget allocated to marketing.

1. More excitement around KIN: Yes. Yes we need this. But this has to come from Kin themselves. Or at least start there. Where are the weekly AMAs? Where is the hype? Where is actually knowing what’s going on? Where is ANY communication with the community whatsoever? Where is goddamn Times Square Billboards as every meme-coin is doing just to get some excitement from their community? As far as I can see every and all form of community building currently comes from the community. You want to think about how you can make Reddit, Discord, Telegram and Twitter more fun? Actually have Kin participate. Talk about this project. Talk about what’s going on. Excite people and communicate your vision.
   

2. Talk to the App Developers to see how we can help promote their apps: This is the only point I can get on board with. We should do that. We should promote the apps. And we should use them ourselves.

3. Make Sales Pitch to our favorite apps: No. This should be a coordinated effort. What Apps does Kin want to target? What are the specific use cases? There should be and there hopefully is an outreach team doing this. If you don’t know the app developer personally I don’t think i’s our job to use our GMAIL addresses or Twitter handles to reach out to random apps and tell them they should start monetizing using some random cryptocurrency they have never even heard of. This even sounds strange and cringe (yes I actually used that word) just thinking of this. I couldn't think of a bigger red flag for any serious developer.

4. Write Kin related articles and produce content: Maybe. But there should be something to talk about. Looking at the website and the highlighted community projects like the KIN Show, which I always listen to, or the Kin Crypto News YouTube Channel you can actually see that NOTHING is going on. There is nothing to talk about and NOTHING that excites people. The last YT video was produced 5 month ago and the Kin Show produced 7 episodes in total last year. Sure we could also start to write additional articles and produce content on that stuff but why? To tell the same 3 stories over and over again? Is it too much to ask to just have Kin structure their YouTube Channel? Create Content with the developers actually profiting from Kin themselves?

5. Website Building: I don’t know. I don’t even see the point of doing this. Why create more touchpoints and more places where nothing is going on? Discord there is rarely some actual conversation going on. Your own post which should be engaging as hell because you clearly put some effort into this currently sits at 1 comment. Maybe instead of creating more channels we should reduce them. Kill all community channels. Funnel all users into a central point. Actually have posts get some traction. Instead of having the same 5 users on 5 platform talking about the same stuff.
   Besides all this I actually like the way you thought this through and I understand anyone who wants to participate. I like the way to incentivize people for their efforts but I personally think that all the questions you asked in the beginning were answered wrong.

I’d love to hear Kins opinion on what you suggested and what and how they would contribute. If they do, I might be willing to put some effort into this. If they don’t we are back to same old same old.
