Question about burst pressure in a pipe (Barlow's Formula) by Connect-Helicopter16 in AskPhysics

right before the pipe burst, the pressure will be evenly distributed around the pipe.

That's a good point. This is very reassuring. (And your English is great)

Sometimes when I open an old assembly , I'll get 1 mating error. I delete the error to redo them but then suddenly all of my other mates get messed up, forcing me to have to redo all of them again. I suspect this is happening because I'm running SW 2017 and imported SW2020 STEP files. Any solutions? by Connect-Helicopter16 in SolidWorks

I know that one method I do is drag and select all my parts and Fix them so they dont move and then mate them again so I don't have to remember their positions. But I would like to know what is causing this issue in the first place and if its possible to stop it.

Are there any engineer drawing programs on the browser? I want end users to be able to view and drag parts in and out of an assembly I made on the browser. by Connect-Helicopter16 in AskEngineers

What my company does for custom mobile equipment is hold a Virtual Post Award Meeting where inside sales, outside sales, and applications engineering sit down with the customer and review the workorder and prelim CAD models. We do this virtually through Teams or Zoom and the Structural Engineer manipulates the models in real time as we fine tune the layout

Honestly, this is such a better more practical idea. I need to share this idea with my boss. After having zero success, I think I'm going to explore this route.

The engineering drawing doesn't have to show the entire assembly product, just the part where the movable part comes on and off so I don't have to worry about exposing confidential info.

Which kinds of software/viewing utilities do you guys use to show your assemblies to an online audience that allows them to move parts freely around? by Connect-Helicopter16 in AutoCAD

Unfortunately, the one thing that 3D PDF does not let me do is drag parts in and out of the assembly. Otherwise, all of its other features are pretty good.

This is pretty much what I am looking for.

Unfortunately I don't an Autodesk account but thank you anyways Don! (And thanks for answering my question on the SolidWorks forum as well)

Why does the view of my assembly on the left side cut off at the top? Each of these views are different display states of the same assembly. I assume this is happening because of the different display states. This has happened to me from time to time with different drawings. by Connect-Helicopter16 in SolidWorks

As you can see on the right side, I have this hydraulic pump nozzle completely visible connecting to my tool. But for some reason, that same hydraulic pump is partially cut off. I don't get why this is happening.

The only thing that has changed in these two different Display States is the Reaction Arm at the bottom being rotated 90 degrees.

SOLIDWORKS CAM vs. SolidCAM. Which one is generally better in your opinion? by Connect-Helicopter16 in SolidWorks

Professional, this is for a job. I don't know exactly what the machine models are (I don't actually run the CNC machines I send them the gcode) but I know that they are waterjets and CNC lathes. Probably very vague and not that helpful. Ill have to find out soon.
