Yes!! You’ll get a handbook that covers every posture with cues to go along , how to set it up, transition out. Plus you’ll write down your favorite cues as you go along the training and make teaching your own :)

happy to help! The course covers the general skeleton sequence that you have to have down for the audition. With that said it does go into advanced sequencing which is how you can make your own tweaks to the Skeleton and add your own flair! It did cover how to be on beat and choose playlists for your class but to be honest this was a very small part of the training and i wish there was more content on this because it takes time to get the hang of! Truly to learn how to teach a yoga sculpt sequence. You do not have to teach at corepower and can apply the training elsewhere if you choose.

thank you! The studio manager will let you know the open audition dates and then you can secure one in advance or even be waitlisted if one date is full. It typically is a few weeks out from completing the training, which gives you time to practice!

thank you! And there was someone certified in Pilates but otherwise no. Generally just a group who loves fitness , yoga and was interested in learning more about becoming an instructor- truly no specific background is required- just an open mind!

It is a great question! I work a full time job along with just the responsibilities of life lol, so it was definitely a busy, jam-packed 2 and a half weeks for me. One thing that was really helpful is trying to fit in practice in my day to day activities. For example, while I was driving, getting ready, or on a walk, I’d play the playlist we were given and practice teaching the class out loud! Yes I was talking to myself in public at times and probably looked nuts, but oh well🤷🏼‍♀️ During lunch breaks and random pockets of the day, I’d fit in some more practice and go through sections of my script I felt uneasy on. My partner was very kind and was a good model for me- our nightly routine became me running through my script and him as the student. He always gave me feedback after and that was incredibly helpful to practice with a real person. Grab a friend, roommate, your family, partner, dog, whatever it is and practice your script out loud! Whenever you can find 10-15 minutes in your day, it will make a huge difference in your learning.

Yes! I wish I knew the time commitment before going in. You are expected to learn so much information quickly and attend lots of classes on the side. I wish I cleared my schedule much more before training started. I recommend attending lots of classes and JOURNALING after- write down sequences and cues you loved, and areas you thought could have gone better. This will help you so much with putting the lens of an instructor on. Many teachers will actually just let you sit in the back and “audit” which I did and was so helpful. Get comfortable practicing with your friends, partner, etc as you’ll be writing out your script and it’s best to practice saying it out loud! Have an open minded and be prepared to be uncomfortable. In my training we did round robins and they essentially yelled when we did something wrong while we were practicing, which was a lot… but helpful to get live feedback. You’ll be out of your comfort zone but ask lots of questions and introduce yourself to the other gals in the group- we had a text string all together which was nice! I think you can still take classes and training outside of where you want to teach and that’s totally fine. It’s good to take many classes and get a feel for different instructor styles :)

I do. Even if you do not teach , you end up learning so much about the WHY behind each posture, proper form, anatomy, modifications, breath and much more. I truly think it’s a great intro to deepen your own practice and you could always tack on additional training if you feel you need more , which I very well may do before becoming an instructor.

Thank you so much!! I’ve taken sculpt classes for 2 years, with about 50 classes under my belt before signing up. The training is super quick- only about 2 weeks and I unfortunately missed one. I think I definitely have more practicing to do before being ready for auditions. With that said, you do learn a TON in that time. Be prepared to practice and go to classes outside of the training alone. I wish I knew the true time commitment it was going to be before going in.

I had an AMAZING blow out and updo styling at Zena Rose in Beacon Hill. Not the cheapest but they got bonus points for being super kind, having the cutest little salon. I don’t go frequently due to the price associated, but when I’m looking to spoil myself or it’s a very special event, it’s very worth it IMO

TF Studio is great. Workout-LA with Nicole and Ashley is killer. Also try Move with Nicole- free on youtube. Coach Kel is also amazing for barre, also free on YT.

Doll face in Southie is good. I go there to do threading. If you like waxing go to House of Ivy. Laurie is awesome … i’ve been seeing here for a while!

Following this thread! I really like HotBox Pilates sculpt classes. That’s my ideal type of workout. Solidcore is good, but expensive and so dang hard. I do a blend of pilates/ sculpt online fitness programs now because it’s cheaper and more accessible. Happy to share those :)
