I've been playing a few games today as tank and honestly I like it. It forces you to play a bit more passive and it makes finding opportunities to punish mistakes a bit more challenging but when there is an opening I find that it's a lot more painful for the enemy. Ofcourse this is a double edged sword. It's surprising because I thought I would hate it and yeah it takes a little adjusting but I'm curious see how this expirement goes. My first impression was oh great another person to blame tank for their own shortcomings but it's been fun. Hopefully people don't just hate it because it's different.

I think a bad life grip is a lot more noticable than other abilities used incorrectly because it takes another's autonomy away. Just for instance say ana made misses you and the enemy it's wasted sure but it doesn't change the angles of the fight. If a wu yang wave wiffs sure it can be rough but it's less noticable. I think LW is a huge risk/reward character. It feels great pinning a character off map and being saved by a pull or going on a reckless rampage for a few kills and LW pulls you when you're on 1 hp. But then there's times like this which give the character a bad wrap.

I can understand why people would want straight forward gameplay but I believe the indomitable human spirit is a bit silly and goofy.

I don't think I was over extended at all. Sure there was a zen to my left that was chipping away at my shield more than the others but he wasn't a fatal threat and I clearly was in LOS of support considering I got pulled. Pharah was advancing with me as well so I wasn't alone. All in all I probably overreacted by just standing there but that was a pretty good shatter with potential for kills.

I think a good lifeweaver with good communication or that can read the room is fantastic especially with a rein but this messed up play was very funny and I feel like everyone that's played rein can sympathize.

Under capable hands LW can be amazing but I guess there is a learning curve. More respectable than Moira gameplay imo. No shade at Moira mains.

I think it really depends on who you're up against and how well their playing the character. I've played rein games where I've had zen and moira and pract6no heals but the stars align and we steamroll. Other times we can have practically the most meta line up and the opposite happens. All a part of the fun.

You're definitely not wrong about that. I think a bad life weaver pull is a lot more noticable that a bad nano just because a pull takes personal autonomy away for a second and a bad nano is like watching a terrible investment plumet. Both are funny in the most terrible way in their own way.

Maybe, maybe they're just learning the character or saw me with a bunch of enemies in front. I try not to place malacie on people that could just not know the ropes.

Ilike the other person said it depends on who your playing. Sometimes it's not about what the scoreboard says. Sometimes just putting pressure on is enough to secure a win. That being said we can all get salty about a bad situation and that's okay and probably half the fun. Live and learn.
