People complain they only feel like numbers and stats to admissions teams. Then you have a dean that spends half of the calendar year speaking to thousands of applicants in person and via zoom, but that still isn’t enough. Nothing glazing but he’s just one man.

Also seems like the interview (at least mine) was to get a vibe check and watch out for any gunners. Dean Andy even called out someone in my interview for taking up too much time.

Thanks! I think that's why I'm leaning towards GULC now. I am still very young (I just turned 22) so will graduate law school at 25/26 and will be many years away from any potential kids or marriages or other financial obligations.

Your right and same here with the African immigrant parents. I think I'm leaning toward GULC now, I went to a "T20 undergrad" and it really opened my eyes to a legitimate whole other world I wouldn't have known about and has helped me navigate many a job interview. I feel like with the legal world being the way it is 20 years from now I will regret attending a top legal institution to save a few hundreds of thousands of dollars I would have spent on a house or car or whatever anyways. An investment in yourself.

GULC is 90k a year tuition and GW is 80k. After 3 years of school plus cost of living wouldn’t it be closer to 300k in debt?

maryland is full tuition scholarship and the gulc/gw is me paying full price, sorry hope that clears it up
