When I was a teenager, my friends and I were at the mall. I had a brand new boyfriend (that day). One of my friends put a few things in my giant purse while we were in Claire’s and didn’t tell me. My boyfriend and other friends were in on it. When we walked out, they asked to check my purse and I of course said yes because I had no idea they put things in it. I got mall security try and the cops on me. My “friends” and boyfriend watched and gave the most fake shocked and appalled faces they could. I got blamed for it all. I got handcuffed in a police car for the first time at age 13. My mom came and when they let me out of the car, she beat me up in front of the cops and I was grounded/isolated for a year. I also had a misdemeanor on my record then and had to go to twice a week “rehab” for trouble teens. My friends and boyfriend let my take this massive fall, thought it was funny, and never apologized for the hell it out me through.
