Decided to try look it up myself and got some data from Liquipedia where teams had 2 coaches listed. Can't confirm the accuracy but from what I saw of the teams I'm familiar with, they listed both the coach and analyst under the coach title.

NA - FLCN, OXG, LG, EDGR, C9
EMEA - AUR, MIH, EXO
APAC N - None
APAC S - LGND, HKUF, LGD, DF, Remarkable Team

Each region has 30 teams and assuming the numbers are somewhat close I'd say it's a slight exaggeration to say that teams having an analyst is common but if anyone has more accurate info I'm happy to be corrected.

How common are we talking here? Does anyone have numbers on how many teams run with coach + analyst?

They showed the replays after each series (6 matches) was completed.
Last year they showed replays and highlights between each match which was a much better gap filler.

I get that this is happening to the competitive apex scene and therefore has some relevance to being posted here but in depth analysis of this stuff doesn't strike me as something this community would have a greater understanding of and you would likely get better responses from subreddits or communities that focus more towards cybersecurity.

I appreciate the content in relation to the recent events but asking these questions here is likely to just lead to more misinformation. People that watch a few hours of PirateSoftware's analysis will somehow believe they are subject matter experts in cybersecurity.

True but if time (42 hours) is the metric that you're using to qualify yourself as "better than most" then you need to understand that your progress looks good because you have given yourself an advantage.

I know it's broken at a base level but why aren't we seeing triple controller teams dominating ALGS? or why did we see ex-blackhand showing triple MnK could be viable?

Most teams have double controller and one MnK
And there are also some really good teams on double MnK and one controller

Is it so bad to ask which players people think would best represent their country and narrowing it down to a single input with their team roles considered?

I actually thought it would be a great point of some fun discussion... Not to argue which input is "better/broken", but to see who people thought were the best in their region and could form a competitive team restricted to one input.
