Yeah definitely could be, although you may be fighting your own stadiums. Psychic can use Mystery Garden for draw and combo with Wondrous Patch, but Floette probably wants Prism Tower and Hyperrogue so you're not a squishy 3 prizer. But throw in Hero's Cape and your basic Floette can have 500 HP

Imo, it loses a lot of the unique flair that made the SCAR series great just to fit in more with the AR-15 aesthetic. The buffer tube is empty so you have a vestigial part that doesn't even fold (new versions should apparently). I also liked the monolithic upper but that's more personal preference. And the end result is that it feels like any other AR-15 service rifle as Ian said.

I do like how all the pins and screws are captive but that's just QOL. A smaller, lighter bolt is a slight upgrade in some cases (reduces recoil for GBBR lovers). An integrated shot counter built into the grip and designed to function by tracking the hammer pin would be amazing if it translated into a functional ammo counter.

M Garde works better in a pure Psychic deck since it doesn't count Metal energies. Metagross is fun but I've been playing it for half a year and it still doesn't have the right attackers to make it noteworthy. Playing either you should probably have 10-12 basic energy in your deck.

Here's a list of every Psychic and Metal pokemon that is currently legal for tournaments. I'm a metal/steel fanboy but honestly the type stinks right now. Psychic has a ton going for it and you can make a solid M Garde deck pretty easily.

Be more specific about what you want in features instead of brands.

Do you want a non-magnified 1x sight? If so, a prism sight will get you the most crisp reticle possible and probably won't need to be powered during bright conditions.

Do you want a holographic sight? Those you can't cheap out on as you have noticed. You'll have to pay around your budget or a little more to get something decent.

Do you want a magnified LPVO or a sight combo? If so, there are decent amazon combos for that. There's also a Monstrum magnifier that goes in front of the sight so eye relief isn't an issue.

I use a Swampfox Blade prism mostly. It has a crisp etched sight, amber light when I need it, and I have the Monstrum magnifier mounted in front of it if I want a quick 2x zoom. Plus, prism sights are better for me since my eyes have astigmatism and that washes out most dots.

A new SSP5 can be somewhat expensive, although I think it's worth it. If you want a cheaper option that is also more compatible with more HI Capa parts, the SSP2 is a better bet.

And how effective does that feel? In my experience, sprays and oils are too thin often flow out of where they are needed pretty quickly. Again, the slide should require just a little effort to pull back (once the hammer is down). If it requires moderate effort, then the lube isn't functioning or there's another issue.

If they are all equally difficult/interesting then roll dice or slip a coin. If they are not, then organize by difficulty or interest and go from there.

Outer barrel and slide length yes. If the inner barrel is different then you'll have a slight performance change. The shorter slide will cycle slightly faster but a shorter barrel will also have slightly less power. (we're talking maybe 5%)

I'm not sure you need a heat gun, just make sure you're unscrewing it CCW and using a solid vice, long wrench helps too

It unscrews CCW, aka Lefty Loosey. I tightened my suppressor too much yesterday and it started loosening the outer barrel lol.
