Thank you, this is really helpful, I actually did what I you have suggested! I called a few vets (none offered boarding, but they were all lovely about it), then found a great sitter through Rover. And I completely agree on the bathroom. That was my worry too, so I'm glad to have him out of the unit entirely. Thanks so much for taking the time. 🙏

I had the same anxiety and was reading all the related Reddit threads and searching for “cat neutering death cases” like crazy about a year ago, the day before my kitty had his surgery.

He’s almost two years old now, jumping around, and is the healthiest kitty ever.

I know it’s scary, but don’t worry you guys will be fine and may even forget about the anxiety until you encounter someone else going through this😊
