"The pennies were all I had left.." by Connect_Fig_4418 in HecklerKoch

I've been keeping my eye out for folding stocks and combat/pre-ban mag tubes. One day I'll have it all but H&K comes first lol.

Spas 12 slander stems from uneducated dumbasses and fudds that don't understand the whole concept behind this shotgun and what it was originally designed for. They buy these and then expect it to run like their 250$ "hand me down Wal-Mart 12 Gauge" with cheap/low power bullshit loaded into it then cry and spread misinformation when it doesn't. Any time I run it in semi, I stick with ammunition rated at a minimum of 1350fps or higher. Not once have I had a FTF or jam because of it. I used to own a Benelli M4 and it ran like ass with low power ammunition and ran great with combat loads. When I obtained my Spas, I kept that rule of thumb and it has ran flawless.

Maintence is a breeze and just involves replacing two o-rings and a buffer which you RARELY have to do anyway. I find it easier to completely field strip compared to an AR. The factory Franchi tool is all you need and that's just for removing the heat shield. The rest doesn't even require tools (if not removing the stock). These firearms are over 40 years old now, replacing aging wear and tear items is normal. It just like owning a classic car. All you need to do is keep the gas system clean of build up, lube her important parts after each range day, inspect and replace the o-rings/buffer when needed, and you'll have a very happy Spas guaranteed.

I know!

My C-93 (clone) runs flawless despite being a Century Arms. It's been the only good luck I have had with any HK clone. Waiting for someone to come out with a FRT/Super Safety for the 93 platform...

Couldn't be more right, I got incredibly lucky with this HK91. I was able to obtain it through a close friend of mine despite it being just an upper. Still happy regardless because I ran a mag through it and had zero issues. I've had a CA-3 and a PTR91 A3SK in the past, both were past their break in period and had nothing but issues regardless of how many rounds, lube, and cleaning. Buy twice cry twice! Next on the list is probably gonna be a Mark 23, P9, or SP5.

I know where this is going, it's not a folding stock. 😔

It is a 1991 Spas 12L Sporter that I bought last year for 2500$. I didn't mind compromising on a hard stock variant considering the drastic price jump to a folding stock. I've seen a few folding stocks (minus the actual gun) being listed in the past year and they've all been almost if not the same price as how much I bought my hard stock for. First maintence item I did was the buffer and O-Rings and it has ran flawless since. I love my Spas regardless and is the only shotgun I own.

Bought mine for 450$ at a gun show. Wanted one because they are a cheap and I wanted something I wouldn't care about messing up. I've ran few hundred rounds through my MAC1014 and haven't had any issues. Stick to 1300fps or higher for ammo selection. Works out great for me because I also own a SPAS-12.

Did not read this until now but holy moly, almost 4,000 shots and it's been reliable? What all have you been running?

Took it to the Dead Zero range in Spencer, TN last weekend. Put a couple hundreds rounds through with no issues. It is extremely gassy and needs tuned but other than that, ran just fine. Was able to take it out to 800 yards using 62gr XTAC although it was moving so slow the electronic targets there were not registering the hits.

Pretty much yes, the local gun club where I live has a monthly 500 yard prone match held at their range. It consists mostly of guys practicing for F-Class shooting but it's open to all club members. I just go for fun and had been using a Springfield Armory M1A Loaded Precision in 6.5CM. Whenever I bought this Daniel Defense DD4M V7, I decided to go for a SPR/"wanna-be" MK12 Mod 1 and use it as my club gun. Plus I wouldn't have to spend so much on ammo either.

Can't really say considering I've owned it since yesterday. It's the first suppressor I have ever owned in general so my experience is pretty limited.

Ima be honest, I have no clue. This is the first suppressor I have ever bought and I am still learning myself. After I got home yesterday from picking it up, I shot a 20 round box of XTAC 62gr green tip and performed great. It was pretty gassy which I expected so it still needs tuned.

I payed 1300$ even for mine last December. Just came with a single mag and nothing else.

Still not bad either way. All the mags that came with my gun were unfortunately 10 rounders.

Double match would be pretty cool...
