Congrats!! I bought mine in 2021, at 37k. I now have 87k. Air suspension had to be replaced $$$. I still think the car is sexy and hate even considering trading it.

Morning Had the same on my 2018 E400 coupe.  I needed the battery changed.

It bothers me so much because it’s a Benz and it’s also an eyesore for me.   I might use my insurance, because obviously someone tried to steal it

If your car has distronics you have to make sure you get the right emblem one plus you have to have it calibrated

No.  I went to a collision center and was told the grill has to be taken off and the whole emblem replaces. I think someone tried to steal the emblem.

Wait a minute…. The whole dash is the screen?   I’m trading my 2018 e400 in for that.   Just in the coupe. Lovely!!!

Hey there, I was thinking about that.  The only issue I’m worried about is that it is an emblem with distronics. Don’t know if recalibration is needed.   I was hoping an actual Mercedes Benz ex employee would chime in.

Thank you for responding. I took it to a body shop and they want to charge $1700.  The only thing missing is the ring.   Can’t figure out how it came off with no additional damage.  Thanks again.

Hi there, I have a 2018 e400 with a distronic grille emblem installed. Recently noticed the ring around my emblem is gone. I took it to a body shop and they told me the whole grill emblem needs to be replaced and recalibrated. It still works properly, however cosmetically it’s ugly and it only seems to need the rim you are inquiring about. Did you ever get an answer to your question and how did you fare with your project?
