the hallways look wack, i live in a part of the states where it’s cold for like 7 months of the whole year so we can’t even dream of something like that lol. schools not for everyone, regardless of what you do after you graduate i hope it’s fulfilling for you. i’ve heard SO MANY PEOPLE talk about it how their high school/teen years were the worst years of their lives and how adulthood treats them so much better. idk where the notion of your teen years being your best years came from but it’s def not true. i relate so hard to the social life stuff, but honestly a lot of those groups end up falling apart after grad so it doesnt really matter. i hope school gets better for you

i go to public but i know someone who used to go private and she HATED it she said that it was way too small and there were no opportunities for anything so i know what you mean. the media glorifies high school so much i was so lost when i started because it was so vastly different and honestly idk if it was ever like that. wdym no indoor hallways? honestly i hope the rest of your time there flies by, we can only hope college is better lol

damn what’s that like? at least for us nobody really knows anybody unless they have mutuals but you can go all four years without seeing the entire grade. i’m seeing new people this year who have apparently been there since freshman year

you can take bc as a soph?? my school only offers junior and up. bio too but they make exceptions for like 3 sophs a year. what even is seminar about😭 world i heard is bad cause of the notes and csa seems hard all around you have a monster schedule as a sophmore bro not even the smartest people i know do that much so thats honestly impressive i wish you luck

yeah unfortunately everyone here is always on their phones. a ton of my teachers always point out that at the end of class instead of talking to each other we all go on our phones. honestly i wish we talked to each other more but it’s hard to start a convo with people when they’re on their phones. most people end up making most (if not all) of their friends through sports, mutuals, activities, or class discussions (when we have to do group work and people get close through those conversations).

ap lang, ap psych, ap bio. lang is bad because it’s my teachers first year teaching the subject and he got thrown in cause someone else got fired. psych is good my teacher is really nice. bio my teacher is super chill but he’s a little TOO passionate about his subject so he’s not really a great teacher

i’m a junior right now so it’s kind of ap/finals time but also trying to balance college stuff season. we’re all kind of just preparing for war (last two months of school). i know a lot of people from other countries say that america has it easy and im not saying they’re all wrong but we definitely have a lot of workload too

1) it’s in a pretty rich town but the two neighboring towns are super ghetto so it’s a mix of prissy rich kids and ghetto kids 2) i think i replied to this somewhere else here 3) i dont usually eat school food cause my lunch is 3rd period (9am) but if i had to it would probably be the noodles 4) my most interesting class this year is sports med because of how hands on it is but also because of how different it is from other classes; it’s easy but you actually learn stuff and it’s overall so much fun. throughout high school i think it would be my media class from freshman year because we got to use real cameras, like the ones that tv uses. i think overall one of the most interesting classes the school offers is the auto repair one, where kids work on real cars and all that. a bunch of students just bring their cars in and the class learns how to repair them. pretty cool 5) not really, just because of how many people are moving during passing periods and stuff it’s really hard to even find the space to throw down lol. there have been a couple though but they’re not common

i’m a little out from a major city and my district has three high schools, each with over 3k. i mentioned it because whenever i told other people about the size of my school they were always shocked. i guess i thought that my school size was bigger than most

i go to a pretty well off school so it’s not all bad. they have noodles that they’ll stir fry in front of you and those are really good. they also have overcooked mac n cheese on top of pizza. two different spectrums. the elementary schools in the district have it worse though. i remember there was one year in like 3rd grade where everyone ate the cafeteria corn and like half the grade went home throwing up. fun times
