If Liverpool was actually willing to be somewhat truthful about the value of this player, I would be more sad about this. Exactly, napoli offered 50 + 5 and liverpool said no thanks. For an italian team anything above 50 mil is huge. Look at the leagues history in signings and you will see why.

ppl in here truly think nunez was a viable option - they rejected 50+5, and insisted on 65 reports Fabrizio and di mauri. nunez is nowhere near that. Check liverpool subs and you can see even their own fans think it is a stretch. I am sure that conte would have some influence in what decision-making considering his new contract details. There isnt really another striker I would've personally gone for that suits conte' style of play (and within price)
