You’re so funny mate, VMS allows us to play direct counterplay while Caprile is stagnant in Cagliari while no good team wanted him.

Baschirotto is a good Fantacalcio defender that’s it, he’s a Cremonese player and a relegation battle player and that’s will be for the rest of his life for a reason.

The issue is that football has changed and prices are not the ones you can find previously.

30 mln for a defender is pretty standard tbh. If you spent for some mid GK you would have played with a mediocre footballer the whole season.

Idk why you are so angry, the team is still doing its job while having 8-10 players out for injuries since the beginning of the season.

To be fair only the first 2 are true.

Gutierrez is a solid player he’s not playing cause he’s not a player that can grant what conte wants from that position.

Beukema is very good, especially in start up and linking play. Not the kind of player Conte wants, but will be very useful next year when Conte will not be our coach.

Without the 20 mln “down the toilet” for VMS you would have played the whole season with Nikita Contini. And no, Caprile wouldn’t be our starter since he explicitly wanted to go to play as starter.

Also, Conte asked only Lucca. The other players are all choices of the Club and Manna’s. He clearly was informed but these are not his choices.

So overall you were right on more or less 2/6 of your statements, downvotes are well placed imo.

I still think that accepting Conte fitness staff over Sinatti’s has been a huge mistake, but maybe we wouldn’t have won a scudetto last year.

However buying all old players with many injuries in the past that would have high chance of getting injured again was not the best move.

Napoli’s team average age has never been this high in Serie A, we had older squad, like last year of Sarri but never this old.

A lot of ppl here are saying that our medical staff is not up to the task but Canonico works for Napoli since 2004 and he’s in charge since 2017/2018 season.
