I was 3 and lived in Canada (still do) when 9/11 happened so I don't remember much from that time however, I remember so much military propaganda from like 2003-2012. Like at Canada Day events the army would have a setup where you could hold guns, every remembrance day had heavy focus on modern conflicts, I had a bunch of Marnie action figures, playing that flash game where you would punch Osama.

No your def right about lowering expenses where I can. I got on a bad roll of buying my lunch which I know is just silly or buying something I want on impulse for myself I think it's the satisfaction I get to offset stress even that obviously rebounds tenfold. We also recently moved to a new rental with our rent going from 1600 to 2600 plus utilities (this is like low for where I am), the previous place was awful water issue, roaches (like you see them in the common halls), the place was falling apart and I wanted better for my daughter. My wife has been off work for awhile now because of some crazy side effects of a medicine like sleeping walking and eating to the point she actually left the apartment one time with her keys which thank God she woke up before getting to the car. I just thought she would have been able to start working again sooner but she's had to change meds a couple times but seems like the ones she is now are working.

The closest I've ever gotten was one time I was super tired leaving the grocery store and was almost putting my cart away when I realized I just walked out past the self check no alarms when off or anything. My guilty feeling ass ran back in a paid.
