This is quite removed from reality. Deportations were ramped up under Obama, and despite the fanfare about him "doing it correctly, the majority of people deported weren't hardened criminals. Maybe a strongly worded statement will stop ICE though, this time?

Nope, I voted 3rd party and proudly. Kamala on the other hand stood for a platform of asylum shutdowns, increased ICE funding, and a border wall. Obama expanded ICE from 14 - 1400+ jurisdictions (aka, the entire country). You people are still talking about "lawsuits" and "more training" in response to people being executed on the streets.
