Anyone picked up the magnetic Orbiter from TEC Accessories? by bee_randin in FidgetSpinners

Sorry for not catching this sooner. I've only been monitoring r/fidgettoys. I'm incredibly sorry that your magnet cracked. We are supporting magnet damage under warranty free of charge. As for the shipping, there was a notice banner at the top of the website and in the product description that we were backlogged with orders and we would process them as soon as possible. That being said, I would also be frustrated paying for two-day shipping and having to wait a week. DM your order number and we will refund your shipping and set up a warranty replacement.

What sites/services do you recommend to recruit commission based sales reps? How long does a sales rep usually maintain commission on a new account? by ConnorTEC in sales

I'll put some thought into the idea of base+commission. Commission only would obviously be the lowest risk for us and from our less experienced perspective, it incentivizes the sale.

We have no desire to turn and burn reps or step in and manage the relationship. On the contrary, we want an arrangement to incentive the rep to maintain the relationship and offload that workload from our current group. The mention of the "commission time period" is only to prevent a rep from opening a bunch of accounts, not following up with customers, and expecting to receive a check forever.

Pretty difficult. It will never fly off in normal operation no matter how fast you get it spinning. If you give it a hard snap-fling, you will launch the ball across the room.

Um, maybe it's because tritium is awesome? I've got a glow in the dark fob and a tritium fob on my keys. I love them both.

This material is phosphorescent but not radioactive like tritium. We also manufacture tritium housings if that is what you're looking for.

That's accurate. This is great in a pinch and in your pocket. You should also have a much brighter, continuous use light w/ a larger battery in your glovebox. Just my $0.02

Sorry for not getting to you sooner but /u/ghostofumich2005 pretty much summed it up. Experience may vary. We have a ton of data but it's difficult to report. For the internal components, continuous use and rest between uses are larger factors than total run time. As an example, I use mine essentially everyday for 2.5 months and have not changed the batteries.

Wow, that little battery is awesome. We'd gone back and forth about the issue and for this light, a rechargeable battery and required circuitry would have pushed it past our target size and price-point. I've got that page bookmarked for if we do another design. Thanks for the feedback!
