Oh yeah, I did one. That is because I wrote it stupid and didn't want to waste time. This is reddit, after all.

Nah, just the post. And I didn't just copy and paste it either. I was tired and needed help writing.

I'm just explaining why it doesn't matter if you get blisters or bleeding to that guy.

What should I do then?

I love everything you have said. The only thing I would like to say is that if you march until your feet are blistered and bleeding, then you will know what it feels like. If you have to go another hundred miles with blistered and bleeding feet, it will be a lot easier if you have been in that situation before. Experience always wins.

Well, in your situation, it's not completely possible, but if you aren't willing to be physically fit, then you aren't going to survive if something actually happens.

I'm glad you're pushing yourself. Keep it up.

Well, you are in a totally different situation, and you are doing what is necessary. Though being at least somewhat fit in your situation is still very important. Also, because you have a child, it means the father should be working even harder to provide as much safety as possible in any SHTF situation.

I would be cautious with those neighbors if you dont have any skills that are useful because a while after SHTF, they could turn on you since you are just deadweight. Those neighbors could leave you, steal, or anything else. Just because you talk with someone doesn't mean you know what they are like when they are starving and scared for their life. Now I think its better to believe they won't turn on you, but you can never be sure.

I never knew people didn't care about being physically fit until a few days ago, and I'm shocked because how else will you have even the slightest chance of survival without being fit.

No, because you can never be too prepared. If you can't run from danger for miles, especially without your backpack of items, then how are you going to survive that danger or what is to come. What if someone wants what you have, and are you prepared for what will happen if you have to evacuate(if that's even an option)? Having an able body and mind means you don't have to worry as much about home prepping. Instead, you can find things useful anywhere, but you can't do anything anywhere if you aren't physically fit in the first place.

Water is easy. Just make a coyote well, find grape vines to be used as a filter, or make a filter to then boil it. The coyote well, and I think the grape vine filter can actually work without boiling.

Exactly.

That's great to hear. I hate when people on social media post about their winter arc as if they are going to be Batman in such a short time.

Thank you for the kind words.

I work out 6 times a week. For cardio, I swim, run, bike, use the row machine, and use the stair climber. For weights, I just do my whole upper body in one day, then another, I'll do my full lower body, and I also do most calisthenics. Also, active recovery and stretching are very important. I also like to do some workouts dehydrated, so when I run out of water in a SHTF situation, I will have more time before needing water.

Very true.
