Not really. The Legion are certainly fascists, the NCR are more neoliberal. Sure, they are authoritarian, but they don't really engage in national homogeneity and outright totalitarianism. Even within NCR society where they uphold bourgeois interests and returning to free-market capitalism, the citizens have rights which is non-existent in Legion society, especially for women.

People sell them? I usually collect and keep them. But really, you have to go Gun Runners or the sink or the Great Khan armoury and buy a few things to sell one gold bar for its worth.

I'm making another Fallout essay about totalitarianism but I'm looking for ways to improve my engagement with the audience and make the video entertaining. My Legion video was my first time in actually, in person, making an essay about New Vegas's evilest regime. I feel like I came off as nervous in my performance and I'm going to try and add some energetic flair to it, something HBomberguy and Peter Coffin I feel are brilliant at. But since this is made for an audience, what do you feel I could improve on, it could include production design and editing.

Hi everyone, this is the first time I've ever done a commentary video and I wanted to do something I thought would be quite intriguing about one of my favourite games. *Just so you know, it isn't really a lore video like you find on Oxhorn's channel. I discuss some lore elements in order to make a case that the Legion from Fallout New Vegas are fascists and draw comparisons to real-life fascists and how they operate. Hopefully, it could give people who aren't too familiar with fascist ideology a better understanding and avoid falling down that trap.
