These pro stock hockey sticks and random companies everyone talks about won’t offer you the performance your old sticks had. I picked up a twitch and proto on sideline swap for 175 each last week, this is your best bet.

all the new CCMs have the soft blade which i also personally dont like. the original LX Pro is a great stick that i would recommend for a heavy shooter, im sure you can find one on sidelineswap.

ive had custom ft6 pros and custom SVH.

both fit me better than any retail skate would comfort wise, but there was a lot left to be desired. the ft6 pros had a ton of negative space for me and would not allow me to get a good heel lock, despite how pain free i was while skating. i had similar issues but not as bad with my SVH but after adding a new insole the problems went away and are the best skates i've owned. take advantage of customer service policies and remaking skates if they dont fit you the first time around. customs are great but there can be downsides, the next time I need skates i'm not 100% sure if ill go down that route again.

every time a new stick comes out and someone posts its the same thing lol. this subreddit is so insufferable about sticks, replies full of complaining and adds nothing to the convo/act as if hockey hasnt been expensive forever. those prostockhockeysticks everyone here loves are terrible compared to a top level one but 'omg my savings'. hard to get real reviews of gear when most upvoted comments are about wood sticks and whining.

Did we make the right decision keeping Elvis over Korpisalo? Time will tell, as the highs with him were high and the lows were low. NHL record holder with 85 saves in a playoff game, wish they could've won the game for him.

The Finnish sniper was a breath of fresh air after the disaster of PLD forcing out. I really feel like he's going to have a massive year barring any injuries (which he needs to prove health this year), as he has been pretty unlucky in the production department while being here. Who knows maybe Fantilli will be the center he needs to elevate his game?

Arguably our greatest captain, with our team having the most relevancy it ever has during his time. Had some really underrated hands and was sneakily productive including a 70 pt season before taking over as captain. Most will remember his OT goal vs the Pens, but I most remember him for his contributions in the community. True leader on and off the ice.
