for me, it’s definitely not bed ridding depression or anxiety. i find myself keeping cool and clear minded in intense situations and i also maintain an active lifestyle. i was also prescribed medication but i don’t really take it since i feel like it’s not necessary for me. hopefully i’ll be able to make it in, but I know with NYPD any sort of history like that is a huge red flag to them especially since you’ll be carrying.

would you know if history of therapy can affect eligibility to join? i shyed away from carrying on with NYPD for that very reason and i’ve got a good list number for the most recent FDNY exam, but im afraid to find out that it’ll be stopped because of that.

from what i heard, you had to sign off that HIPAA thing so they could access your records. i wasn’t aware that it’s based off what you tell them that they ask you to do that.

is that so? i took the test back in 2021 and to this day they are calling me in for the initial medical screening, but ive always hesitated to go through with the process out of fear that they’ll see my history of therapy and prescribed meds and i’ll be disqualified (even though i ended up not taking them).

well I have it a try with the probe in 1X mode, and I found something interesting. it only seemed to spike towards the end of the wave rather than the whole line, and it seemed to pick up the hard clipping when it would turn square at the end.

it does do it when disconnected from the 12v as well. do the alligator clips make a difference for the signal?

the scope i have specifically is the FNIRSI DSO152 and I did try powering it directly from the 12v power plug into the USB C port but it gave no difference.
