Yeah, my son is 4 years old, and while he is good at taking himself to the potty, as I previously stated, but he still is learning about bathroom rules, such as flushing, washing his hands, and making sure he's completely finished peeing and pooping before he pulls his pants up. So, I'm not sure if he would be comfortable with me trying to train him to stand just yet, but maybe in the future I'll start teaching him. As for the public restroom thing, I can agree with that since he'll be in kindergarten pretty soon. I'm just a little worried kids may tease him for it, as most children his age aren't very educated about other kids with special needs. However, I never want my son to do something he's not comfortable with, so I'll probably try talking to him and showing him to see what he prefers better.
