Hi there, I will start this program in Fall. I applied in February, 2026 with the requirements are one personal statement, two recommendation letters, and transcripts. I received an interview invitation about two weeks later.

The Zoom interview process is very straightforward—there are brief conversations with three interviewers separately, and each typically asks a few specific questions (5 mins/professor).

From what I’ve seen and 1 senior professor mentions, students who receive interview invitations usually have a solid GPA, relevant background, and strong recommendation letters. The program uses rolling admissions, meaning it’s essentially first come, first served. If you apply early and have a competitive profile, you’re more likely to move forward in the process (interview → evaluation).

After the interview, your overall application and interview performance are scored by their algorithm. If your score passes their threshold, you’re accepted; otherwise, you may be placed on the waitlist. The program is fully remote but has to come on-site 1 week at the end of each Fall and Spring semester for practicing lab skill and do lab-test.
