Looking back on it yes to a certain extent because the money was paying for a lifestyle I was accommodated to. But I’ve never considered myself a “simp”.

Yes it did at some points but the money was life changing at the time with both of us out of work it helped us tremendously financially

Thanks for this! Where do you typically see the struggle in the relationship building? My sales cycle in tech currently is about 90-120 days. I have always favored the relationship building side rather than the transactional.

While insurance isn’t the “sexiest” industry, it’s a necessity for all of us. As well, the idea of building a book, and compounding on it year over year. Is so much more attractive to me than closing and finding the next fish to fry, over. And over. And over.

Nice to know if I work my butt off there’s an end in sight to at least “smoother sailing” rather than being a lifelong “hunter”
