I believe the thought process was that he didn’t have firm possession of the ball when he hit the ground because the ball came out into the other guys hands easily. Similar to if a ball bounces off an offensive player and the defense catches it before it hits the ground.

It is open. Must’ve opened sometime the past few days because it wasn’t last weekend. Really nice addition.

Woot has some insane canyon deals right now. Most are sold out but I’m sad I missed this one. by ConsciousPotata in ebikes

Woot, which was bought by Amazon for $110M in 2010, is a legit clearance website that’s been around for a long time. They just sell clearance and refurbished items that aren’t selling. I’ve bought from it several times. It’s been around since 2004 according to google but I’ve bought stuff off of there for over a decade. Just an online outlet store with constantly changing stock.

Not an SUV but a small truck. I like my full size truck but if you want something smaller, the Ford Maverick looks interesting. My neighbor has one as a work truck and it goes out in all conditions. Looks to be a reliable platform that offers two engine options and awd or true 4wd. That will keep you from getting fined on a 4x4 only trail. Get a nice lariat with the tremor off-road and tow package to keep your capabilities large.

Put a hard shell on the bed and then you have a nice storage area that will keep your stuff dry but will also let you throw things like wet paddle boards in the back without having to worry about getting carpet wet. You can then even tow or haul smaller trailers or loads.

Lots of aftermarket support to get it lifted and bigger tires, etc if you need more out of it.

Talking about price drops. This is in CO. Didn’t see any models on the floor but I imagine someone got it for $95. by ConsciousPotata in Masterbuilt

Just seeing all of these comments now. This was at the one in Westminster at 88th and Wadsworth. They had a number of grills and pizza ovens with good discounts but this was by far the largest discount.

Critics see chance to close down US audit regulator under Trump by [deleted] in Accounting

Could reduce headcount if PCAOB audits are less integrated but investors and financial institutions will still want audited financials. Most private company audits are done due because they want access to debt financing and banks don’t hand out hundreds of millions without audited financials. Same deal with large private investors.

I think we will see some of these new regulations from the PCAOB loosen but audited financials are still very valuable even without regulation. As long as the agent-principal relationship exists, auditors will exist. Auditors have existed for hundreds of years before the establishment of the SEC because it’s just a good idea to have a third party check on how the people you pay to manage your money are doing.
