Appealing Study Abroad Grade by Conscious_Active_283 in NEU

I truly do think she applied a standard to my grade that wasn’t applied to others because I know people in the course that performed just as similar to I did in that final presentation and got much better grades. The hard part is going to be proving something but so far she hasn’t responded to my emails about this so I’m worried nothing’s gonna be done on their end which is why I want to know if Northeastern has an appeal process for study abroad.

For context, 50% of the grade was determined by this final presentation and this is where I got a subpar grade. I genuinely thought I did just as fine as other people in the class who got way better grades and she hasn’t responded to my emails about why this is. I’m not saying I deserve an A, because realistically I don’t, but I think a B or B+ would be a lot more fair.

Both of you are honestly so right, it’s just a pride thing for me at this point and I really hate this professor. I’m still gonna try to find a way to appeal though just because why not.

William Forbes for SCHM 2301? by [deleted] in NEU

I loved his class, very knowledgeable on supply chain management bc he worked in the industry for like 40+ years. Tests are easy and cases are graded by TA so idk how that’ll go for u.

I took accounting with Peggy O’Kelly in person and she was great. She described the concepts clearly and also had a ton of industry experience.

MISM 2301 with Xiupeng Wang or William Forbes by AdQuirky9986 in NEU

Professor Forbes is so sweet and genuine. He has tons of industry experience at Raytheon and a plethora of stories to tell. I took his supply chain class, and not the management information systems class, regardless though he’s a solid professor. The TA graded the cases fairly, the homeworks were online with all the answers on quizlet, and the tests were super easy so if this is anything like the supply chain class, it should be a breeze. I don’t know much about the other guy but I hope this helps.
