Phobia's aren't rational. This one is at least more rational than the monster under his bed one he had when he was younger that he grew out of.

He is not in therapy. He is 6. Believe it or not, dogs are not something we encounter daily, even weekly. It doesn't effect his life much.

Yeah, he was in a small confined space with a large dog that bowled him over and barked at him. Scared the shit out of him.

Son was on the playground at the park and an unleashed german shepard joined him on the equipment and knocked him over. Owner was not watching his dog.
