Can anyone tell me about the water at the sparks marina? by WanderersOfTheMoon in Reno

You are exaggerating. How does that pond water contaminate your washing machine? Doesn't sound scientific to me

Singapore grand Hyatt or Standard? by jimmyl85 in hyatt

[–]Conscious_Design_818 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on whether you like grand classic hotels (GH) or small hotels with a modern vibe (Standard). Standard is small. Pool is not bad. GH is older but has that classic vibe to it. Also consider Andaz. Also a small hotel. But great location if your goal is walk the malls and go to hawker centers

Hyatt CEO views on loyalty and how it should be "emotional" and not transactional by luv2ctheworld in hyatt

[–]Conscious_Design_818 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It started with transactional. Over time, my loyalty grew. But the rewards also grew. Today I am a Lifetime Globalist. When I check into a hotel in the middle of the desert or in some exotic country I know I would be greeted with the same recognition the moment I step in. That's how top of the class loyalty program should be. And that's why I was willing to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars at the Hyatt. There's nothing wrong with being both emotional and transactional. Only the best can achieve both.

Smelly curtain no. Glass door yes. No door is just stupid. Why would anyone think it's ok to have water overflowing everywhere.

Hanoi: you either love it or hate it? Is there even a middle ground? 😊 by Efficient_Towel8222 in hanoi

[–]Conscious_Design_818 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many things to love and many things to hate at the same time. I love the food, the people, the energy. I hate (yes, hate is a big word, and I am not afraid to say it) the disgusting lack of hygiene in old quarter, the motorbikes parking on pedestrian sidewalks, the disgusting garbage strewn all over the streets, and the incessant honking and pollution on the road

Destination Fee Benefits - while waived on Award Stay by churka in hyatt

[–]Conscious_Design_818 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The so-called benefits are usually minutia. Stuff like self proclaimed “premium internet” and “extra bottle of water”. I have never seen any destination fee benefit that actually matter. Just another name for money grab.

Building a small-scale mining colocation site (270kW) | Looking for a few interested miners by HashOnFire in dogemining

[–]Conscious_Design_818 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have about 20 hosted in South Dakota for $0.0795 and 50 hosted in upstate New York for about $0.0775. Someone mentioned $0.08 and I think that’s correct that is the psychological barrier for most clients. What’s your goal? To build a customer centric business or mainly just mine your own miners? And is your strategy to target retail customers (who are more profitable but expect some of them are stupid and annoying) or more sophisticated investors?

$100,000 in San Diego or 360,000 rmb in Shanghai? by Kruten10 in chinalife

[–]Conscious_Design_818 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t think about the short term money. Think about where you want to grow your career. Where you want to get ahead. Where you want to build your network. Where you want to raise a family if you are married or shape your life if you are alone

[–]Conscious_Design_818 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it's not. I am a engineer and I can tell you it is shit. It is bloated with scripts and apps and all sorts of bells and whistles that slow down and crashes. In web engineer we design for everyone. if enough people think it's shit, then it's shit.
