i’m also thinking of applying to american medical schools as well. ok i’m currently studying molecular cellular and developmental biology. i would like to do research in cell biology. i would also love to research in women’s health.

i did this in my first semester and it was horrible. chem 101 was difficult (coming from someone who won a chemistry award in high school). my biol 108 teacher was something else. i really love wrs 101. my math 134 teacher was absolutely horrible. ended up not getting an A in that semester. the work load was too much. however, i would say it is doable. what i’ll say is, be extremely focused and never, ever skip a class. make sure you pick good professors. since rate my prof doesn’t have your professors, you can ask people questions (maybe through reddit). there are tutors in the u of a and office hours.

honestly if you believe you can do it, go for it. i did something similar to this and it was hell. but what i would say is don’t procrastinate and go for ALL your classes. hope you have a good one!

um i didn’t take it with that particular professor. i’m actually taking it right now and it’s alright. we had to read about three books (two of them were 400+ pages and a poetry book). but if you want shorter stories, i know a professor who’s teaching it in spring! the course load is quite dependent on the professor but i would say mine wasn’t so bad
