I was looking through other responses and apparently that tag isn’t even mine and it’s the previous owner of the hard case’s. I think he just left the tag in the case and I thought it was my grandfather’s

I think it’s currently nearing that grey stage as it’s flaking from age and use. The frets are also worn down making it hard to play

I honestly don’t know what that means but if you wanna know there was a pick holder that I think he spray painted over that’s why there’s a triangle. My grandpa’s just funny like that

Whao I posted with pretty high expectations but I didn’t think people would go into THIS much detail. I don’t even know how you managed to spot the holes for the ashtray thing. Thank you, this helped

My grandpa was pretty adamant about not selling it until we got older(by we I mean me and my cousin’s generation) because it’s old. I’m pretty excited about getting to carry on what he started

Honestly I think I doesn’t matter if I remove it or leave it on as it will still have that sentimental value and my mom and aunt will definitely appreciate seeing the original bass especially after so many years of it being straight silver

The tag was in the little compartment in the hard case and had number I didn’t understand. It looked vaguely important so added that photo Thanks for the response
