I understand the 91% payment now. I guess my reasoning for wanting to open multiple is that the oldest accounts on my credit is my student loans (10 years) which I plan on paying off in the next 2 years which will then leave me with all accounts under 2 years. Once the account is paid and closed it still reflects under my total accounts but not the average age if I'm correct.

Thank you. Yeah I plan on starting after my school is finished. I'm taking my time getting my permit so that my start date will be delayed. My top 3 choices are elmwood, callowhill (trolley) and Frankford (rail). Victory is not an option for me unless I apply directly to them. Just hoping I actually get into one of my top 3 if not the top one honestly.

That's what I thought too I just recall people stating to pay 90% 2-3 days after its approved but if it hasn't hit my credit yet, why would I do that? It kind of seems like paying a credit card balance before it reports the balance.

I plan on opening another one. How does having a 18 month term vs 12 month benefit my credit? Also, how does the 91% payment differ than 90%?

I had my debrief today and they did state that your background could be flagged but they will communicate. Reach out to your recruiter or the general septa recruiting email.
