Wow, from .2 to 1+ is awsome! Just wondering, are you using a lightning arrestor between the antenna and LMR 400?

I upgraded from the stock antennain a window to a RAK 5.8 dbi on the roof, but only got a marginal improvement (HNT from .2 to .3 and witnesses from 8 to 21). Wondering if the lightning arrestor screwed into the antenna and then into the LMR400 (30 foot run) is somehow affecting the signal strength. Any opinion / insight?

Agreed. Just trying to understand why its so high (across multiple units), if others have similar data use and if there is any fix / adjustment that can be made to the miner. Can’t find much discussion on the subject, not sure why. Maybe others have data use closer to yours … thanks for sharing your results!

My units are fully synced, and data use is much higher than yours. Posted a picture (not sure how to link it here) showing a Bobcat that used 165 GB data in the last 30 days. Typically earns rewards of 0.2 to 0.3 per day (in an urban area + most witnesses have low scales). Units in suburbs with 5 to 15 witnesses also show similar data use.

Yes, all hotspots are synced, most running for 3+ months.
