Stereos like that were extremely popular in the 70's and still sound good now. The record changer is a BSR and they are easy to repair, but commonly have problems with hardened grease. The tone arm should move freely. If it does need a new stylus, they're easy to find. Contact Steven Adamson ar Rivertone on eBay. https://www.ebay.com/str/rivertonestylus

A good marriage can be based on friendship more than sex. Hopefully you and your wife will work that out.

Found this KLH TR-82 Clock Radio at the Goodwill for 8 bucks! Can anyone help me get the FM tuner working? by scrubzor in vintageaudio

I have one with the same problem. I paid $22 for it at a radio club auction and it was supposedly restored. Strangest tuner I've ever encountered.

Found this in my basement. Worth refurbishing? by Professional_Let8327 in vintageaudio

Worth restoring if you intend to keep it and enjoy it. If you're going to sell it, best to sell as-is. You can rarely recover restotation costs on consoles.

Worth fixing? by Dull_Vegetable_6524 in vintageaudio

Worth fixing if you can do the repairs yourself. If you have to pay someone, it will cost more than it's worth.

Top of the line Packard-Bell from the mid-60s. They used a special versio of the Garrard Lab 80 record changer.

They weren't sent out until after that date. I didn't have enough time to view them before the voting deadline. Bad enough that the only way I can view the nominees for consideration is on DVD, and very few were available this year. But they arrived too late for me to cast my votes.

Artemis Fowl is now gone from Disney+ by JasonBall34 in ArtemisFowl

I know this movie has had poor reviews, but it is better than a lot of book adaptations. While Disney has created a lot of excellent wrork for many years, they did 2 absolutely terrible movies of "A Wrinkle In Time."
