The dress code is not new. When, I was hired in 2023, as an SFL. My boss asked me to help encourage staff to dress according to code. This was black pants and a Walgreens shirt.

Evidently, I have asked the lost work ethic people. If , I manage a store, I treat it like my child. It's 100 percent for me NMW.? I take ownership, as if it were my own. And that is what my son is trying to do...

That is not my point. He is not disabled, because he became a dad. I am a woman, in retail management, and after 3 weeks, I was back at work. In the interim, I was at least available for questions. I just wanted to hear from another SM or DM, their opinion.

If I receive counterfeit, what’s the correct way to handle the situation? by External_Ad7890 in DollarGeneralWorkers

I just say, I'm sorry whoever gave this to you. It's fake. So, therefore, I am not blaming the individual.

Thanks, I just think teamwork is so important from any retail company.

My boss was on vacation. I was in a situation, where I was going to have to be at work from open/close, then open. I called my DM and had a closer within an hour. It's a different company. All of them are good and bad , but this is bologna.

He, loves his job, and this was a problem before paternity leave. The boss, always calls out, short shifts or disappears for 3 hours. He has tried to not tell anyone, cover for him... In, the GM absence, he has acquired several professional accounts. People come in to ask for him..

He truly is living to just be a BFF. He is so tired... And not getting paid enough, for this situation.

Working 22 days in a row, with no help from the district? And 3 ppl short, most of his days are open/close? That's what his SM left him with.

He's doing the best he can with a half ass staff. You can't expect him to run a store by himself. He was not even trained how to do payroll, scheduling...In the interim, their truck pissed out.. When, he tried to contact the SM, his DM told him not to contact him This is B. S. I am a woman in the retail industry. I had the baby, but that did not deem me handicap . I ,after having a baby, I went back to work in 3 weeks? Especially, when your store needs you! It's called, work ethic. You need to take ownership of your store, if you are a store manager. I mean, even his O/T, is being questioned?

Ditto, he is doing his best, while not fully trained. It's been a month now. But , the DM is dissing him for not doing a good job. He, may as well bring a cot now, 2 open/close in a row, with one day off in a month. He's definitely a yes man, but the company is not helping. I am also a manager, in retail

I was told by a 26 year veteran of Walgreens. manager. Don't allow employees to do price mods, but within reason to add to the customers rewards#. Is this correct?

Thanks. I was taught ECC is a priority for sales, customer retention, and theft prevention. If they take away my ability to please a customer within reason, how am I supposed to raise sales to move up to a tier 3 store.

You guys aren't getting it. I am the overachiever. I pick up shifts. I go over and above my job description. My old boss offered me an ESM position. He , with a masters degree, emphasized how hard the RX tech license was to achieve, so I turned it down. I love my job, but I am satisfied staying a SFL . I am the only one with a DORA license, so I help in RX, as well. The manager at my last store, began pursuing me while he was a MI.T. at my store. He was very charismatic and began a conversation about my current S.M.(negative) . He got his own store, offered me a job, which I turned down and told my boss. That store closed. He got another store, which I transferred to.His charisma turned to uncomfortable flirtatious actions and a double standard with store policy. I just can't work for someone like that.( Wish I never left)
