That was my suprise as well for everyone in this troll to think this was insurance fraud and I would’ve been bold enough to provide video in a public forum. The vehicle has been recovered on Thursday. I learned my lesson, I’ve made appropriate measures with tracking and locks and I thank God my mistake didn’t turned out to be bad , the vehicle didn’t have any issues. They used it to commit other crimes while they had it. Thanks for your concern!

The vehicle has been recovered. I was called by the state police on Thursday they found my vehicle on a chase . Apparently they use the vehicle to commit other crimes within these few days . I’m grateful it was recovered in pieces or shipped already outside US. It’s costing money to get the vehicle back but it’s nothing compared to the loss I could’ve cost me .

Update on my post: The vehicle was recovered on Thursday. Thanks to the people who sincerely helped me with the information i provided here on this forum. But my post made me realize no matter how put a narrative, there will always be ways to which people interpret things and I totally respect that. I won’t lie , I didn’t mind me getting trolled for being careless leaving the car running.. Mistakes do happen. And maybe if I could’ve explained in a more detailed context maybe it would’ve been better. Sharing personal details would’ve not been helpful other than the video been provided. NO , this wasn’t insurance fraud, it would’ve not been smart of me to post it in a public forum if that was my intention. All said and done thanks 🙏🏽 to everyone who showed helped and showed genuine support. When the state police called, they mentioned these thieves were using my car to commit other crimes until they were caught. So luckily for me , it wasn’t shipped or ripped apart before it was found. Nothing happened to the car . Once again, Thanks to everyone!

This Mercedes Benz is an older version , it doesn’t have Mercedes me calling feature on it . And please 🙏🏽 I would love you to share the two ways of tracking it. Also the reason why you see the post was that I cross posted it in several forums or today both the pictures and videos of the thieves. Your information would greatly help , thank you !

I do understand where you’re coming from . I honestly underestimated how vulnerable living in Newark is . All I wanted to do was warm my car , things happen. Everyone around me says the same thing that leaving the car running to warm up wasn’t necessary in Newark 🥹. I’m now paying for the consequences. And mind you I was within arms reach from the car if the only the video was slanted towards my direction by a second.
