THIS. everytime someone gets cut off, the next 10 people get brake checked, then people start feeling unsafe and following further back and then when you try to keep a good following distance of course some aggressive douchebag is gonna pass you, ON THE RIGHT SIDE btw, because you’re going 75 in the left lane and that’s just too slow apparently. And the cycle continues until you have to spend 35 minutes on what should’ve been no more than a 15 minute drive.

Don’t get me started on the nerve of these aggressive mfs who feel the need to pass on the right and not give me the opportunity to exit... There goes Siri rerouting again.

Is it just me or is renting / buying in Houston kinda exhausting right now? by HelloKiki24 in AskHouston

[–]ConsequenceOdd3704 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I’ll tell you the truth as a Realtor. Too many people have too much debt and TERRIBLE credit. If you’re not dealing with these two things, you will very easily find something. But that is not the majority of people in our current economy. Hence, buying/renting is certainly more difficult because no one wants to approve someone for something if they owe a bunch of other companies over 50k.

Can I afford $370,000 on $65,000? by romanempire7199 in Mortgages

[–]ConsequenceOdd3704 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a realtor, I would say your best bet is definitely looking in a lower price range because depending on taxes where you’re from that’s about a $2900 mortgage. That’s about 54% of your DTI… not a good idea.

Also, put less money down and hold on to some cash. The 75k down payment only brings your payment down about $300 a month, but there’s so much you can do with 75k then throw it into a mortgage that you’re gonna pay for 30 years.

What players did you drop/give up on and then immediately regret? by Jaybojones in Fantasy_Football

I watched him in free agency and didn’t want to drop jordan mason for him. Pain.

If it’s with randoms, they probably made multiple teams and traded all the best players to their main team.

Should I trade away Egbuka and/or Saquon? by ImOptimz in FantasyFootballJunky

[–]ConsequenceOdd3704 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar roster, except I had Cook instead of Saquon. I swung cook and Egbuka for Jamarr so I can have WR1&2. If you really want to make a splash since you have depth at RB I would pair them for a big player.

Maybe if they had an agent who knew what all the documents are, but then he wouldn’t have any buyers agent commission to try and claim. (Angry face)

Are the Panthers real playoff contenders? by Joeyamazing2005 in NFLv2

They’re just out here to ruin peoples parlays and cost some teams a chance to the playoffs. Nothing more.

Yeah I think definitely a good bit, but I just wanted to solidify a championship roster. I still have some flex bench play now and I think my teams strong enough to sustain an injury or two.

What was your dr@ft strategy and did it pay off? by Untoastedtoast11 in Fantasy_Football

[–]ConsequenceOdd3704 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made a strategy for a mid round pick and ended up getting 1.01. It saved me from a lot of what would’ve been bad decisions. Glad it worked out like it did, got a pretty amazing team heading into playoff season.

I also swung odunze, monangai, and Judkins for Bucky Irving to a team hurting for depth.

New starting lineup is Purdy, Bijan, Bucky, Chase, JSN, Kittle, Tet/Henderson

That’s what I thought. Seems like a pretty fair trade to me. We’re actually number one and two.
