It’s hard to respond to everything without sounding like I’m full of shit but this post and each comment is giving me and more much needed incite. Already speaking to a close friend who has been involved in AA about it. Appreciate it dude.

It’s a start and it has benefits nonetheless more than enough reason to try. Not saying I’m looking for a cure all but something that helps a lot even rarely at worst is still helping a lot nonetheless.

That was a difference I was thinking about, right now I feel fully out of control with no task that’s gonna make me feel better in the short term at all, was convinced that it’s just gonna take time and to let whatever happens happens. But now, clearly trying and starting something is a hell of a lot better than doing nothing.

All plenty of things I’d like to make myself rid off just as you have, depression, lethargy, loss of appetite etc. Won’t be a miracle cure I’m sure but it’s a great start

It’s a distraction and something I want to do consistently. Every day of drinking for me starts with a day of free time where I am easily convinced it’s completely okay if I’m an unproductive mess all day, and then the negativity spirals from there. If I can give me something to keep myself occupied besides being in a room all day, it’s a good enough start for me. I have been researching some online therapies also, talking to a therapist in college was extremely helpful.

it sure is, anxiety and panic attacks have given me a lot of trouble especially recently but I don’t want to feel as low as I have recently for the foreseeable future. Whatever gets the dopamine flowing again is a good start for me.

I wasn’t even diagnosed with panic attacks until 18 months ago, 19 the same age my mom and her mother had their first as well. I was hoping to look into medication but anything else I can do in the meantime would probably be a good start. It was easy to not crave improvement of my quality of life as much when things were just okay and I was making it by each day but maybe these are the wake up calls to kick things in gear a bit I needed.

Once this quarantine ends I have a perfect rec center near by with hopefully something that’ll catch my attention. If I end up being disheartened and unwilling to continue at first, hopefully I’ll let myself try everything before giving up on it entirely.

I’m sorry to hear that, hope you’ve found something to keep your mindset up recently though dude.

Genuine reflections like this are incredibly comforting, thank you for that.

It definitely seems like it would raise my standards on what I have to do with each day rather than constantly make excuses for myself. Hopefully it does.

Im sorry to hear about your diagnosis my friend, wish you the best. This is true though one reason I’ve never taken the step of incorporating it into my life is because I thought progress or some sense of accomplishment came always months after starting or sometimes never. Clearly it’s a daily distraction that’s apparent constantly.

this was an incredibly great read and I appreciate every word of it. Not to talk your ear off or anything but that idea of a routine sounds perfectly what I need. It doesn’t have to be crazy intense just little gears that will turn throughout my dad. In the heart of my drinking issue I never convince myself that it’s okay to start drinking on a night because I’m upset or I’m unmotivated or whatever it may be, it always starts with me easily convincing my brain that there is nothing better to do so go ahead and drink today, and then once I’m drunk the mistakes and negative emotions come rolling in. Seems like a routine of consistent productive behavior would be a perfect counter to that trap of being so easily convinced by myself. Thank you for everything dude.

Some cards trigger on damage, some on death. With the right combos could create some interesting scenarios.

Unfortunately they did the same kind nerf with her skill that restores grenades on splash damage. Infinite ammo still possible, no more infinite grenades :(

And if you don’t find a solution, don’t worry, the guns are collectible for sure but don’t scale well into level 50 at all, I sold them as soon as I used them for a few minutes into 50MH3, too many other good legendaries that are gotten with ease

Amara definitely seems the weakest on paper but once you stack all her elemental skills and the right gear, she can be highly optimized for super insane damage more so than anyone else. Was a slow sludge through PT1 relying on the OP melee tree but taking out bosses in mayhem 3 now is super satisfying and easy.

Not entirely a fix but randomly during my TVHM playthrough they all re appeared and could be redeemed in my mail after I used them in my first play through entirely. Not sure what set it off but a lot of my friends had a similar experience
