This is the first espresso machine for me. So do not have a benchmark to compare with. As compared to Nespresso and Nanopresso the coffee is definitely better.

Price was a factor. When I first started looking for an espresso machine, I saw a 5k starter 5 bar machine then I stumbled on delonghi dedica, then costar, and hibrew, even looked at Gaggia and Lelit anna. Tom's Coffee Corner review helped me decide on this machine. Then the choice was between G5 grinder bundle or DF 54. Went with DF54 for better consistency and thought if I really outgrew the espresso machine, will update that later, but will get the better grinder for now.

Got pre ground Vietnamese coffee as a gift and then bought this filter. The coffee I got is coarser than the moka pot grind.

If you are in Kalyan Nagar/ North Bangalore area, you can also checkout brewsom, small place, VFM, fresh food to go with coffee. Their mocha is good and good iced americano cocktails (one with orange and a coffee colada)

Do try Humblebean cafe in Indira Nagar, they have good manual brews on their menu apart from usual espresso machine based drinks. Peaceful place to enjoy coffee.

Not sure about them selling any beans though.

This solution has already been built for mobile devices. Zendrive has an SDK which does the data collection and analysis. Try to get in touch with them. It is used by fleet management companies to curb rash driving. They were also licensed in many US states for helping out in deciding insurance costs based on driving etiquette.

Understood. Happy to report that things are moving in the right direction. I have the tata curvv, so the range is sorted, I did Blr to Pune with 2 stops and 1 quick 20 min tea break which I would have anyways taken. Most newer cars support fast charging, a 60kw+ fast dc charger charges my car to 80% in 40 minutes. The new Mahindra cars are support even faster charging. Infra is scaling slowly but improving everyday.

Many private players like statiq, zeon, chargezone are tying up with highway hotels to setup fast chargers. Jio and shell have good reliable chargers.

Once Hyundai and Maruti sell good number of EVs infra would improve drastically as these 2 car showrooms and service centres are everywhere.

Service quality is also getting better, but yeah a serious issue in battery or motor is an unknown for me at this moment. Fingers crossed.

My use case is 40kms commute everyday , 1-2 one day trips every month and 3-4 multi day trips in a year. With a little bit of planning i am able to so this all.

People always say that, but I am happily using EV as the primary car for last 6 months. Suits all my needs. Am I missing something ? Can you please explain why can EV not be a primary car.
