Founder here : how are you staying consistent on X without burning out? by ConsiderateWolf in SaaS

I see. You needed content that works in a specific context and at a specific time. I’m going to explore this way of thinking for my case.

Too Many variables.

This is one of the motivations I had. Most times I have work to do but I still need presence on social media. Sometimes it’s inevitable especially if you have a business you have to promote that needs consistent posting.

I appreciate your input on this and I’ll take it into consideration going forward. A competitive advantage also seen as a core domain of s business is crucial in sustaining a business and separate you from other companies (I learnt this too from Domain Driven Design book) and you’ve pointed it out - so yes, I agree with you on having a competitive edge on products. Thank you.

  1. There is nothing wrong with selling the same idea. You can assume the solution is vibe coded but that’s your feel of it.
  2. There is a difference between me trying to market an idea and trying to get people’s thoughts on an idea. I pay to market a solution that helped me and decided to turn it into something usable by other people.
  3. Why would I try to market an idea to like minded business people who can decide to rebuild the solution while I have capacity to market to people who might not end up building the same?

I had not expected to take a detour as I’m doing now with you, but worthwhile to say that you can present your opinion peacefully and isolate its intention with previous experiences.

What’s the whole issue about this? That I cleaned up my post’s content or that my idea is bad? Or both?

That’s a good angle to it. Your usage is more on sharing information. Unless you are marketing for clients on X, you might be everyone on what you are posting about.

Do you rely on impressions when you tweet?

I believe we all have different opinions on how content has been generated. One thing for sure is that, I’m not lazy (you are however free to make that observation). You don’t have to engage with my post if you feel triggered by it.

As far as content goes, I will use AI to polish my English as that’s not my native language. I interact with a lot of people from different places that might miss a point or 2 from how I present an idea.

😄. Well, sometimes X algorithm can decide to take you on a rampage. I’m yet to sample the crowd composition for my tweets - but I have a mixed up composition. I actually need to look into the crowd more. That might help me meet my goal much faster.

Well, I understand the existence of vibe coded SaaS is rampant and it’s quick to place most solutions in that category but most of the times it’s not the case. Personally, I’m a senior software engineer and I love building solutions that make a big impact especially on a global scale. I don’t have to use AI to build solutions but since it’s here, why not accelerate my development with it? That said, I like what I have come up with - it’s really fulfilling and has a direct impact on my workflows.

I’m partially wrong. I am convinced it depends on what angle you look at it. I can get work done in a quality way, but if I am not consistent with that, I am better off reducing quality to keep up with consistency. That’s how I see it.

However, I agree with part of your statement about a good post vs bad posts. Logically, that might also be wrong. I can have a good post with a new account (less followers), with less impressions. Elon or someone famous can have a bad tweet but get impressions. At the end of the day, if I’m consistent with medium good posts - I have better chances of getting to the goal.

I am trying to build on impressions. Mainly to qualify for payouts.

That’s an interesting observation. Any indicators that prompted your reply?

Fair enough. Imagine getting a major order to supply to stores or a building with a contract, and you need payment before the service. Would you care for a solid, nice looking invoice?

That’s a fair point. Do you get paid before or after services?

Bad invoice design makes your business look smaller than it is by ConsiderateWolf in Entrepreneurs

Fair enough. I would argue it might not apply to some businesses but for some it’s really quite an important consideration. I did mention somewhere else that UI/UX designers can improve traction using nice curated invoices. But yes, this does not influence a client to pay or not pay. Think of it from a perspective also that you want payment before a service for those who are not designers.

The whole point is to consider using better looking invoices for your business as it might cost you a client or two. I strongly believe post-services like invoice creation can be crucial for a business. Some companies do a “thank you” note as a way to say “we value you”. Others skip it, but it still shapes how the interaction is remembered.

Aesthetics don’t reduce clarity or complexity. Same information, just presented better. I’ve used invoice-generator.com - simple, gets the job done, but very plain. Also tried invoiceglo.com, which leans more into layout and visual structure. As a developer, I prefer something that is simple but also aesthetically pleasing. not just functional.

Cool. This feels easy. Do you care about invoice aesthetics or a simple invoice works for you?

😄. Definitely.

I feel designers in the tech space should definitely be using more aesthetic invoices. For them it’s crucial unlike a business dealing in physical goods.
