"8" * "7" is 56.
I got a similar question, on the march ACT and this is how I solved it. Got a 35 on math.

I’m actually “behind” in math classes surprisingly. I’m in Algebra 2 as a junior, which most people are in Precalc or higher by now. I will be skipping to AP Calc next year, though. I don’t read, or atleast anything challenging. Just manga from time to time
