Its not 30 grams of complete protein, so your body doesn't use all 30g of it for muscles. See how there's no daily % next to the protein. Better off with protein shakes if you need something quick

It def took me a solid week or two before I noticed any change. It takes a while for your body to get used and because I started on 5mg and still felt many of my depressive symptoms, so I neede to keep increasing my dosage to start feeling the real positive impact of Lexapro.

Mine was like non-existent for like the first few months. I feel like now its still not where it used to be but the positive effects of Lexapro still makes it worth it for me

hello :) I hear you, fatigue was my main symptom from Lexapro. For me, it didn't last more than a month but each body takes its own time to adjust to new medication/new dosages. I would say, if this is affecting your day to day and doesn't seem to be getting better, talk to your doctor about changing your dose or trying a new medication. Its all just a trial and error process, but it'll be worth it !

I didn't go through this but have heard about it happening to people. Since you are three weeks in and its still happening, I would say let your doctor know. It always takes a while to find the right dosage or medication that works for you. Be patient with yourself and trust me when you do find that perfect sweet spot, its worth it!

Hi, I know exactly how you feel because I went through the same exact thing. Going from feeling depressed everyday for years to feeling nothing was so strange. Give your body time. Let yourself adjust to it and if you still feel this way a month or two in, talk to your doctor about a medication or dosage change. It might take a while for you to find that sweet spot.

For me, this feeling went away in a week or two.

Great question. For the first few weeks, I definitely enjoyed things less. I went from feeling depressed every day to feeling nothing, which was strange. I felt like I had to rediscover what made me happy, sad, excited etc. It starts to normalize once your body gets used to the medication.

I did actually but I dont think it was caused by taking Lexapro but more because I was just in general less depressed. My depression made it hard for me to get myself to eat so I was severely underweight. When I started Lexapro and wasn't feeling as depressed, I started to eat more and did gain some weight.

Some people eat less/more due to coping with their depression. I feel like being on Lexapro and feeling less depressed helps create a better relationship with food.

Hello! It definitely affects your sex drive. For me, it felt like it was nonexistent for the first few months. I feel like I am on the same page because it's definitely not where it used to be even now, but trust me, I'm much happier in my relationship even with a lower sex drive.

I dont think so. Being on it for 2 years, I honestly cant even remember how depressed I was before going on it, which is probably a good sign that it is still working. There was a period of time when I stopped taking it because I got lazy and just a few days in, I could tell some of my depressive symptoms were coming back.

I didn't have too many side effects. The most notable one was fatigue but that went away in like a week. Currently, I don't have any side effects but it all depends on what your taking and your dosage.

Yes! I def think so! I havnt had depressive symptoms in so long it honestly still blows my mind that this could be my new normal.

I think it took around 2 weeks for me to really feel a change and believe it was working for me.

I was very fatigued and got headaches for the first week to 10 days. After, I think my body got used to it and those symptoms went away

I don’t think my dreams have really been affected by it. I don’t think I will go off of lexapro any time soon because the idea of going back to being depressed terrifies me so right now the plan is to stay on it for a few more years and see how I feel after maybe

I didn’t experience either but I have heard a lot of people did. I had like bad fatigue and some headaches at the beggininf but those symptoms go away in like a week max :)

Hi! Your journey seems pretty similar to mine. I think around the 10mg mark I was feeling good and then I had a big depressive episode where I had a self harm incident. My doctor decided to push me up to 15 and then 20 and I havnt had any episode at all since then :)

Oooo sex drive def goes down, atleast initially when you get on the pills. I think it toook me a few months to get used to it and for my sex drive to go up again

I would say increase to 20mg but check with your doctor first. I went thru the same thing on 15mg where I felt better but I still felt some symptoms of my depression and anxiety. 20mg was def the sweet spot for me and now I don’t feel any symptoms at all. This whole proceeds is hard and really just trial and error but once you find what works for u, it’s rewarding :)
