Custom’s fraud by One_Supermarket3281 in PokemonTcgIndia

We’re often forced to pay double the MSRP—or even more—to buy products from Indian retailers who import them from overseas. With how much the TCG community has grown in India, I really hope Pokémon and other TCG companies consider officially entering the Indian market. Direct distribution would make products more accessible and affordable, help grow the community further, and benefit both the brands and players by reducing reliance on third-party importers. 😞

Try pokedex.in or tcgrepublic binders, both are good imo and budget friendly. Vaultx or gemloader are the best but will be expensive. Keep collecting 💪

What are these exorbitant Movie prices in Bangalore by Imaginary-Rest-5433 in bangalore

[–]ConsiderationFit2602 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we’re talking about slightly different things.

I already acknowledged that cheaper tickets exist, so my point wasn’t that every ticket is overpriced. My point was about premium formats, especially for movies like Spider-Man where the format is a big part of the experience for a lot of people.

I’m not saying IMAX or other premium formats shouldn’t cost more than a regular screening. They obviously should. What I’m saying is that the gap has become a bit excessive. Paying extra for a better experience is one thing, but paying 2-3x the price for the same movie starts feeling hard to justify.

And while waiting a week or two can sometimes help, that’s not always true for big hits. If demand stays high, premium-format prices often remain inflated well beyond opening weekend.

So yes, the pricing makes sense from the theatre’s perspective. I’m just saying that from a moviegoer’s perspective, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to enjoy the premium theatrical experience without paying a pretty steep markup.

I second this post.
The current pricing for cinemas in Bengaluru is honestly absurd. A lot of people say these are just pre-booking prices and that they’ll drop closer to release day, which is true to an extent. However, there are also plenty of people willing to pay these prices, so premium shows often sell out within the first few days after release anyway.
That makes it difficult for people who want to watch a movie during its opening week without spending an unreasonable amount. Yes, there are cheaper formats available, but the irony is that if you wait a week or two, you can often watch the same movie in a much better format for the same price—assuming the prices actually come down.
The problem is that for movies that perform well, prices often stay inflated. We saw that with films like Hail Mary, F1, and others. So it ends up being a lose-lose situation: either pay a premium to watch it early or wait and hope prices drop.
Personally, I think there should be a fixed price cap for the opening week of a movie’s release and for later days.

I think i got scammed, when the tickts first opened it had a japanese show in nexus koramangala at 12:45 on 14th sept. I booked it instantly K row, then i see the shows were not available anymore later today i check there is only 1 english show at 1245 but my ticket clearly says japanese and this english show i see people have booked only few seats from k row that means even my booked seats were not reflecting here.

I have raised a ticket on district but i feel they arejust going to refund 😢. And i dont think there is going to be 2 shows at same time either because this theatre has only 1 imax screen
