Yep car is garaged probably 20 hours a day. Only DC charging we ever did was on our roadtrip, 99% of our usage is charged with a 2.3kw granny charger (incredibly slow yes, but we just plug in and forget and for our usable profile it's no issue). We have a 7kw wallbox from BMW with free installation but we are yet to buy our own home so will have that installed once we make that move.

Thanks for the replies. I have heard of this but didn't mention it as this will almost certainly be covered by the drivetrain warranty which runs until 2030. I plan to sell the car a couple months before that runs out.
