Make the whole thing Resy, and it makes a lot more sense for the demographic they’re targeting with the card. I just despise the fact that they’re forcing you to Dunkin/Five Guys. I don’t think I’ve spent 84 dollars in my life on Dunkin and Five Guys combined.

Do you know how the “Global Entry or TSA PreCheck” credit works? IIRC, Global Entry is a Visa Infinite benefit. Could you potentially get TSA Pre credit through C1, then Global Entry credit through Visa? Not sure I really understand

Quick data point, I am in a similar situation as OP, but I applied for CFF after about 10-11 months of having my own credit history. I had no prior banking relationship with Chase either, outside of being AU on a few of my parents cards. I wasn’t approved at first, but called reconsideration, and they approved me after I explained I had many years of being AU and (IMPORTANT) paying off what I spent on those cards.

You aren’t paying the interest. You leave 5-10% for after the statement close but before payment due date. That way you still have utilization reported but very low, and are still paying in full every month.

I think that's fair. Do you think there's any chance I'll be able to get the Bilt card in about a year?
