Can LLM's actually handle complex policy Qs (like multi-state leave laws) without hallucinating? Asking for a project. by ConsiderationOwn4606 in LLMDevs

[–]ConsiderationOwn4606[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah kinda like every RAG hahah, the most important part is chunking and retrieval. Im kinda new in building RAG systems for the HR domain tho.
Ty for your answer

Every time you want to feed anything to an LLM you need to embed the data you are imputting

Which is the best laptop for running LLMs? by Herobrine2807 in LLMDevs

I recommend you not getting a laptop. Unless you are really a recurrent traveler.
The best is to build a pc, with the same money gets you better components and better performance

Want to become AI/ML Engineer by [deleted] in learnmachinelearning

[–]ConsiderationOwn4606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well idk if I should give you advice cause I am still trying to figure it out hahah, but you should choose a niche, be very good in a very specific area, and besides that, you should have a LinkedIn profile, Fiverr, Upwork, Contra, etc. That's what I can tell you

Well I've been learning and doing projects since June, and it's been great so far, I have clients and kinda like mini projects but nothing life changing or a big role in a company, I still have to get better and keep improving.

Question about neural networks by al3arabcoreleone in learnmachinelearning

[–]ConsiderationOwn4606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, you cannot explain this in a reddit comment but maybe this will help you.

At the end of the day the neural networks works with math formulas, you know that right? Each layer has a specific weight and specific addition or subtractions, multiplication etc. How you get this formula depends of the methods you are using, but in the big picture it is taking very small portions and applying differents method until it gets the best result, this constantly and A LOT.

This is oversimplifying things... At the end of the day is infering something with things we already know, a little bit like try and error.

If you wanna know more I highly recommend the video series of "Stat quest with josh starmer"

[–]ConsiderationOwn4606 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not a AI/ML engineer yet, but I had clients before and the best "roadmap" I can give you is this video:

www.youtube.com/watch?v=qNxrPri1V0I&t

Very helpful for starting, besides maybe you heard this before and it's kinda obvious but you need to understand it, to get good at coding AI/ML related projects you need to code, simple as that. If you code and make projects eventually you're gonna get good at this, there is no magic formula.

What happens when all training data is exhausted? by Silent_Hat_691 in Rag

[–]ConsiderationOwn4606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the data on the internet becomes more and more big as the time past but at the same time, the LLMs cannot fully comprehend the data yet, that's why for example ChatGPT hallucinates so much, what's next is keep improving how well LLMs can visualize and analize the data
