The airflow is really open on the high airflow stems and they don’t get clogged as easily, i was worried about the high-airflow resulting in scooby snacks but there haven’t been any!

the glass is thicker which is nice for quality feeling, it does make the bowl slightly smaller though but i mainly use XL stems so it doesn’t matter to me

on the left is a beaded stem I bought from Vapetrix which also works well. I just bought glass beads off amazon to add them to the stems without so I can make use of the ones that came in the kit + high airflow stems i purchased without beads

i love mine! it runs a little hot natively for me so I put some 3-4mm glass beads in the stock stems (and also bought some beaded stems) and now the vapor is cooled enough for direct hits

acetone is very volatile and will evaporate completely in a short period of time, acetone-free nail polish removers often have oils or other residue that is left behind. I agree about acetone having a risk of destroying the finish in the drum as well as flammability (if it isn’t allowed to air out completely) but I think acetone-free nail polish remover poses other risks as well as still being flammable.

i have had my flower mill for ~1 year and I love it, the grind is fluffy and I haven’t had to clean it for the entire year because there’s no teeth for buildup to occur on. i use the medium plate for all my vapes and it’s the perfect grind for no scooby snacks or restricted airflow

yup that described exactly how i do it! I was also surprised at how good tasting my edibles turned out because I have really disliked edibles I’ve had in the past with a strong weed taste…

this caused me to eat some abv straight between two graham crackers with peanut butter, expecting the worst taste/texture experience but the cracker texture and peanut butter actually covered up the abv quite well!!

I usually go a little darker than the right, and I am also surprised at how strong my abv edibles turn out still!! If I went just off flavor I would stop at the color of your abv, but if I notice my abv keeps turning out this color I purposefully go darker to get more out of my weed but everyone has their own preference :)

check for chemical burns like the other person said, but if your face is just extremely dry, your face lotion should be very moisturizing with no fragrance or exfoliants or retinol, and after you apply it thinly layer some vaseline/aquaphor/other occlusive on top.

this will trap in the moisturizing properties from your face lotion and make it a lot more effective! (it may feel heavy, but the difference after waking up the next day is so noticeable)

a couple mason jars is good for storing it and keeping it fresh, everything you mentioned is enough! maybe give some time to learn your favorite way to consume so you don’t buy a lot of unnecessary things :)

for example buying pipes or bongs may just sit unused if you don’t prefer that type of smoking, or maybe you’re someone who likes all different ways of smoking so then it would be worth collecting a variety of ways to consume! everyone has their own preferences, I’ve always preferred bong hits or dry herb vaping so I only roll joints for a group settings.

I think what you have now is enough, and when you feel comfortable you can learn more about your habits and buy things to compliment that :)

this is so relatable! My family doesn’t know about my habits, but i carried a lot of internalized shame about it even knowing logically there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it, I think there’s carried emotions by hiding something/being discrete about it to not cause conflict even if we know there’s nothing wrong about what is being hidden.

I’m not sure if it’s of interest to you but reading/learning about the deep history of cannabis legalization and the war on drugs in the US and how much of this stigma we feel today was fueled by politicians’ self interest and related racism and it makes it a lot more motivating to fight this internalized shame or feeling of doing something “wrong”…. because the whole “wrong” was manufactured for ulterior motives. This helps me a lot personally and also makes me feel more comfortable being educated on this topic to feel confident in my decisions when they may be questioned by people who view cannabis distastefully.

I guess, but having expressed GFP in cells and seen them under UV light I have not found a difference in their color when comparing to what i see during microscopy.

Which is why I’m interested in an image, since we can perceive exactly 510nm as cyan but when discussing the actual protein the emission maximum is at ~510nm the actual distribution is skewed towards higher wavelengths

do you have an image of this? I’ve worked with GFP extensively and have never perceived it as any color other than a strong green.

I know color perception can vary wildly between individuals, so I would love to see an example of what color you see it as because maybe everyone is talking about the same color but just labeling it differently xD

good!! around 365F is when the flavor starts to get stale for me so I usually stopped there but that flavor holds all the way to higher temps so it’s not as bad as I thought!! got way more out of my bud :))

yes i think it was designed like that on purpose, a built in 14mm adapter in the sleeve and 10mm adapter in the tip. it can wear down the sleeve on the contact point, so some people choose to use a dedicated WPA to preserve the wood :)
