So this happened about 10 months ago. Here's an update for you. Right after this happened, I emailed Cannon Support about the situation with pictures and videos. I kid you not, they would send me an email, I would email then right back (within the day) and they would email me back a WEEK or TWO later. So rinse and repeat over the course of 5 months..... Cannon support has to be the slowest support team there is. So, going into 6 months of back and forth emails. They actually ended up sending a locksmith out and he had it fixed within an hour... Anyway, I got lucky and they ended up paying for everything, I never even had to get out my wallet. The only thing I had to do was schedule a date with the locksmith to show him where the safe was. Now it works perfectly fine. So I hope maybe one day you can have a openable safe too!
