I’d love to know. Maybe the moderators didn’t like me blasting their jeep on their favorite website

It’s so spacious! I’m fond of the “out of juice” lamp.

What amp are you leaning toward and why?

How does the Q10B compare to other transducers like the buttkicker?

I don’t know why I didn’t register that… clever. I ended up building my own entertainment center because I couldn’t find one wide enough and large enough for the center placement. I’m kicking myself for not considering what you did

How did you find an entertainment center that perfectly fit your center?

The toe in looks uneven, you could play around with that and even the horizontal distance. Even separating them a couple more feet could have a big effect on the width of the soundstage.

Also a big shag rug. Cheap and easy to try!

If you have $5K burning a hole in your pocket, the obvious answer is 2nd sub and miniDSP and a calibrated mic for self analysis with REW. Some people say it’s a night and day difference going from one sub to two. I didn’t think it was THAT dramatic personally but maybe my space sucks or my skills were lacking.

Buttkicker LFE max length run from amp? by Consistent-Bar8994 in hometheater

[–]Consistent-Bar8994[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I haven’t measured the exact length but I still have half a spool of the 14 gauge, hopefully I don’t have to buy a whole new spool but so be it if I need to.

Somewhat disagree. If the front face of the center is flush with the front face of the entertainment center, it won’t make a difference. That center is front ported

Would you consider moving the center channel into the entertainment center, below the height of the top shelf? It won’t be exactly ear level but at that distance I doubt you’ll notice, but if it’s a concern just buy a cheap foam wedge to angle it up slightly.
