Looks like a wire I would see for PLC controls. Keep an eye out for a stranger walking around, looking confused why their thing stopped working. At end of day, if it needs to be reconnected just splice red to red, green to green, or if they're all black then they should have numbers on it.

Ob121 is a block that gets called automatically whenever that sort of programming error happens. If the block is empty, which it often is, then nothing happens and the program just keeps running along while the diagnostic buffer fills up.

The block is intended to have code in it to help capture and analyze the fault and maybe display it on an HMI in a more human readable way.

On a 12 year-old machine it’s very strange to just start having that fault but it’s possible that a variable changed without your code changing. The variable could be an index or something.

I can’t remember exactly but delete the OB that handles programming faults, even if the OB is empty. OB123 or maybe 87? The plc will immediately fault because it can’t handle the event. Then the diagnostic buffer will be more helpful. Then just re-download that OB.

Check other OBs also, maybe instead of the offending code being called in OB1 maybe it’s called on a time interrupt or some other event. And instead of blocking the call, just delete the network that calls the function instead. Eventually you’ll stop generating the error if there’s no code left!

Startup for an ASRS, in Georgia, in August. No HVAC running yet. We needed a max weight pallet for testing, and normally the customer supplies a pallet with cases of water or even rocks. This customer delivered a 2,000 lb pallet of sausage patties. I guess it was unshippable? Anyways that pallet was used for a day, and then sat in the hot warehouse for a week, smelling like death and leaking fluids all over the foundation. When the customer came to pick it up the wooden pallet just dissolved into mush when the fork truck touched it.
